    Hello, and Goodbye!

I think this may be more of a "I don't know where I posted my thread" rant than "I'm crying so I'm leaving" rant. Your thread is still there in the Lounge where it's always been....not getting replies.....because it sucks  Now, you can cry for making sucky threads :nutkick:

Is there such thing as too low?

Pretty sure he's got a build thread on here. Brings back memories of a time when there were actual builds on TYF that got us excited about these rigs. Those were good days on the ol' forum. Was almost like a friendly competition around the forum :)

I've been lucky. I've owned 3 GMT900's and have never had to replace a water pump on one yet ***knock on wood*** On my '07, I put 150k on it and I'm 40k deep on the esky and have dodged that bullet so far.

From the vid it definitely sounds like the Idler pulley. But even if it turns out to be the alternator that's an easy fix, too, just more spendy than the idler pulley. Alternators on these rigs is pretty much a 30 minute job if you relax and take your time.

I assume a new axle is on your list of to-dos in the future? Dont wanna leave that like that for too terribly long. The corrosion will play havoc eventually. And you seem to have a real group of awful mechanics in your neck of the woods LOL

Ball joints also don't see any extra wear by being lowered. At least they haven't in my...
