    You will have to finish breaking the old mirror as said and remove the clips from the old one that attaches to the mount inside, the new one should come with new clips but make sure you get all the clips positioned right before snapping the new mirror in and your wires connected also.

    I think 20hrs of labor is about right from start to finish mostly the finish with evacuating the system charging etc and tool clean up, his time doesn't stop till he parks the vehicle and signs off.

    Sounds like fuel pump module or fuel pump not keeping pressure. There was issues with the modules dropping out, the ticking maybe the injectors running dry getting loud without hearing it in person but yeah tow it to the dealer. Surprising there was no codes.

    Did you pull the plugs before trying to turn it over by hand? It would take at of force with the plugs in during the compression strokes on a 6.2. Drain the oil and see if you have metal fragments in the oil.

    Recirculation Issue

    The recirc setting does not prevent 100% of the outside air from coming in the cab as you will get some outside fresh air coming in, you have to have some fresh air coming in to prevent stale air inside. It also says that in the owners manual.

    Never use 4wd on dry pavement and make turns the system is binding up is to why you're hearing the noise and are likely going to snap something drivetrain related. Only use on slick surfaces like snow ice dirt etc when turning.

    First off never seize will never last under the heat it's exposed too and 2nd as the saying goes "leave well enough alone " if you do it and break a bolt off your looking at a engine tear down to remove the head by having it drilled out to get the broken stud piece out of the head.
