esky 3rd brake light

The family I share a house with has a 2005 esky esv with the same tailgate hatch as mine. In fact I detailed her car this morning after over a month not being able to detail it for them haha. I took the hatch apart to see the hardware underneath and it looks just like mine. That's how I figured out I could do the swap without swapping glass. Which I would switch the hatch if I need to but if I find a taillight with the same hatch as mine than I don't have to switch the hatch. Lol.

Ahh, OK I get exactly what you're saying now. Yes, I believe that style glass can swap an esky light over to it without replacing the glass. Have you considered color matching your current plastic on the top of your window? I've seen a few on here that were color matched, and they look great! They look very similar to the esky brake light when they are color matched. Just "rattle can" it. If you can get a can of filler primer, a can of paint to match your trucks paint color, and a can of clear coat.
