Suntek vs X-Pel

I am about to pick up my Denali tomorrow and am going to do the Clear paint protection film. I have heard nothing but great things about the X-Pel, but these guys at X-Pel Houston are pretty proud of their product, so they quoted me over $1400 with full bumper/headlight/hood kit and rocker panels. However, Cutting Edge Concepts here in Houston quoted me about $1000 for the full front end and full rockers using SunTek PPF.

Does anyone have the Suntek PPF on here? Thoughts?

Some help would be great on deciding!

No thoughts on either one. I am considering doing this as well. So why the post? You can pick up kits on the web for about $350 and do it yourself!

Both are excellent products. The Suntek is apparently slightly thinner and hence easier to work with. It has a reputation for being 'optically clearer' than Xpel Ultimate. Which itself has great optical clarity.

Bottom line: it's all about the installer. Whoever you believe will do the very best job is who you should use. Btw, $1400 for a full hood, fender, bumper package is reasonable imho.

i have a 2016 yukon denali and i had the entire truck covered in xpel and i absolutely love it great product

Because I want a professional to do it on my vehicle.....

One thing to know

The majority of xpel installs are done with the pre cut sheets made by xpel, some installers will custom cut xpel, but most will not since xpel is thicker and not as friendly to work

Suntek, 3M are thinner thus easier to work

For me, I preferred custom cut (rolled edges, no seams) over a thicker product

the entire truck was 5000 including window tints 5% on all windows

Ever seen a work van with a front bumper that is all pitted and has rusted little spots all over it. Well, that is years of highway / street miles of dirt, sand, weather, etc.. working away at the finish of the vehicle. Once this is applied it is like the "bra's" of the eighties and bug guards seen on countless pickups. It significantly reduces the wear of surfaces on the front of your SUV. This same stuff put on headlights keeps the UV from creating the hazy look we all have seen. When spending as much as we do on these trucks, why not add this to keep it looking good.
