JB Weld did not hold up. I ended up drilling, deburring, self etch primering, painting, and sealing holes for the factory cleats to hold the subwoofer, and then bolting the brackets in place through said holes, and then covering with flexible seam sealer afterwards. Just to follow up on what works and what doesn't. The cheaper way would be Keith's butterfly bolts. Epoxy alone will likely not be enough.
Subwoofer location preference.

My buddy's 02 box is held in at he bottom by what appears to be a welded metal clip, which differs from my
95 which has something to hold he jack. Hopefully I'm wrong, the junk yard will sell me the box for 25 dollars. I'd love the MTX Thunderform but not willing to spend hundreds for a box

Is this in addition to the center console sub? May cancel each other out by being so far from each other if so.
What sub boxes and subs are you using?

I had the single 10" under the 2nd row seat and didn't like it ...went with the thunderform and Iam very pleased with it. Replaced the mtx sub with a Polk db and it sounds a lot better!
