So you think changing the fuel pump will fix the issue?
I read that the issue with the gauges are from the actual cluster ...

it can be either and when you hit 99-2000 years the pcm gets involved in the mess as well.

PCM goes around $199
Cluster is anywhere from $50-$200 depending on custom or old OEM model from u-pul it or flebay
Delco Fuel pump module is $139
My question is
What kind of diognostics would be done to pin down the issue instead of replacing them all together. ..another question: does the electronic clusters for the later models fits the 1999 models?
