I need to get new ball joints and was looking around and saw theres a couple different styles of control arms for my 1999 Tahoe 4x4. A stamped one and a cast one, whats on the truck now looks like the stamped ones. I also searched around the net and found that there were forged ones on the 3/4 and 1ton trucks.
Can I swap my control arms to a different style? Would there be any advantage?
I like to get the best I can if there is little/no price difference.
