Motor Question....350 vs 454. I looked and couldn't find anything in search

I am looking to purchase a 99 Suburban. I am finding more 454's in nicer conditions than the 350.

Im positive this has come up in discussion many times, but I was not able to find a thread. I checked search function, and also looked through 20 or so pages.

Can somebody point me in the right direction please?

I have read/heard rumors that some of the Suburbans with the 454 had a gearing option that was more for commuting instead of towing??

options were a 3073 or 4.10.

could not have been that bad. i did specify a page after all. to much trouble to draw a squiggly circle on it and ruin the pdf for everyone. i wish you a speedy recovery. :console:
