I have a circle d 26-2800 stall. sounds like what you are looking for and a vinci trucker cam in a 6.0 with Brian tooley racing double springs. I'm getting ready to install it all soon. we have similar goals and hopefully it all works as planned. my goal was to torque vs hp and the option to supercharge later...

I'm starting to think the Yank TT3000 converter might be the way to go. Sounds like it might be plenty streetable, but just that much better launch when you want it...
