I am new here and wanted to get some opinions from the group here. I have been reading here and really like the look and feel of the 2.5 front and 1.5 in the back as far as the leveling kit goes. However, I am concerned about stability and safety since I do have a wife and 2 children.

Would it be better for me to get a suspension lift and pay more or will the leveling kit be a cheaper safe option? Also, not looking for anything more than 33 inch tires and I am keeping the factory wheels. Not looking to lift very high just want a more aggressive look and feel.

Help, your opinions are welcomed.

That lift is fine for normal driving. I have a wife and take nephews around in my 7" lifted Denali all the time. Still safe with lifted trucks

thing is, I have heard that at 70 MPH the stability of the vehicle is not as safe with the leveling kit, the components of the vehicle are extended and are stretched, thus giving the vehicle a top heavy feel at high speeds. This makes me feel like having a small suspension lift and paying more for it. Just seems like it would be safer at high speeds.

Well I have had my Denali up to 85-90 mph with no issues. I can say a 2" level kit is more normal feel then a 4" lift kit. 2" cost $100 and best 4" is $2500. I personally don't think you want to spend that much to have it done right for a true lift kit. Just get a level kit and you will love it

I have a level kit and it feels like stock at all speeds. Mine has been on for ~ 6 years and 75k miles.
