2015 Tahoe LTZ got a "service parking sensor" error message
Took to dealer to get it serviced under warranty. When I called to ask if it was ready they said it appeared the front bumper had been hit and knocked the left sensor loose or broke it.
$626 to replace it and paint bumper.
When I got my Tahoe back I looked at the bumper and there was barely a scratch on it albeit there was a very light scratch.
So two questions:
1). Is there a way to turn off the oven worked in the display that comes on every 15 minutes telling me to service the sensor?
2). Could it be a very small box disabled the entire sensor system?
