Time to upgrade my Tahoe again

I have had this 1999 2dr Tahoe since 2001, it has been a really good vehicle to me, I have never had any major issues, just regular maintenance costs and that is about it.

As a 4x4 it is a very good off-road vehicle it only has a leveling kit in it, but with the traction control, it makes it a better off road vehicle than my 1997 Cheyenne p/u and the Cheyenne has a 6-inch lift with 315/75/r16’s on it, you can go farther in the Tahoe than you can in the Cheyenne. And the Tahoe only has stock tires 265/75/r16

The guy I bought it from said he had the badges removed and the chrome bumpers swapped out and opted for the black ones, he said it looked better with the (sports grill factory), he had it done at the dealer ship, and all I added was the Z71 stickers and the levelling kit.

I have been trying to figure out what badges he had removed, so I am not sure of its original trim

It is close to the Z71 trim package, difference between the two is the chrome bumpers, aluminum rims, and the aluminum side bars.

I know it has too many packages in it to be a base, it has the convince package, off road package (skid plates), luxury package, the Z71 package (traction control, 373-1 and LSD), plus cold climate options, audio options, and a few more that you cannot order together.

This is what confuses me is it a limited, Z71, or what?

So, I would like to find correct badging for the Tahoe, fix a few bumps and scratches

Upgrade to a smoked headlight and tail light kit, put 33’s on it and then enjoy it for another 15 or so years

Trim choices for a two-door would have been 1SA (base), 1SB (LS), 1SC (LT) and BYP (Sport) which are on the RPO label.

The Z71 was an option on all but the base trims.

thanks for the info, it looks like a sport, so what is a sport version of the 2dr Tahoe?
it has BYP in the rpo sticker.

It was an appearance package, one of those images had a description of what it included.
