Looking into replacing my headlights and the bracket they mount to. Are there any good brands that mount correctly besides OEM? I tried a brand called TYC on another truck I had and they didn't mount up as nice as the OEM did.

Best case, try to find some GM versions. If you can’t, I’d try to reuse your existing brackets as that seems to be the weak link on the aftermarket ones. That and lenses that leak and allow moisture inside.

Earl, as previous east302 mentioned, aftermarket such as TYC (tang yang co) are not worth the trouble. They use child labor in all of their Asian facilities, bottom line JUNK. I retired 12 yrs ago as Auto Body Shop mgr. after 35+ yrs. I saw the beginning of A/M parts of all kinds, I never saw any of it that compared to OEM, period. Stick with what works even if it costs a little more, it's worth it. :2cents:
David g..........:)

PS, forget to tell you your ride is awesome, would like to see some more pics.

My 01 Yukon Denali has horribly dim low beams. At night if a car’s coming my way, the low beams don’t really light up the reflectors on the road and I just have to guess where the lines are. Wondering if there’s a bad ground somewhere but don’t know where to look... anybody got anything??? thanks a lot

If you can still find them, TYC came out with a 50 state street legal HID headlight package. I believe they came with Phillips electronic ballasts and D1R bulbs along with a wiring harness that gave you the 4 Hi mod. I've been running them for the past 7 years without any issues whatsoever.

Does this come with a proper projector to focus the light or does it just 'scatter' light everywhere?
