Nice truck, congratulations.

For performance, I added the K&N Air induction kit, this made a big difference on my 2011 LT sub and also was a big difference with the 17 Yukon XL. The little extra air helps!

In regards to the difference with the Denali 6.2 and the SLT 5.3, I thought it was interesting that the 5.3 has a greater tow rating than the 6.2...not a huge difference, but perhaps something to do with the Gearing. When I bought my truck I was looking for a specific loaded truck, 2nd row buckets a must, rear entertainment...if the truck had those features then it pretty much would be fit with everything else, and that is what I finally found...of course silver with black interior was another challenge, for those of us out west everything out here in Cali is either white or black...finding silver West of Texas was tough. The grey is a nice option, but I had a black Yukon XL after a white Sub, and then swore I would never get a dark color Sub or Yukon again...my 2011 sub was silver and the new Yukon when we started shopping had to be silver. So much more forgiving as far as maintenance.

This was pretty easy to install. Didn’t have to remove or unscrew anything. The Black GMC logo adds a nice touch. Now I have to do the back.
