On my 4th Denali now and the Bose system has never been that great IMO. Every time I hop in the wife’s Allroad and turn up the Bang and Olufsen system I am ashamed at the sound quality in the Denali. Any suggestions for upgrades (speakers, amps, etc.) while retaining the factory unit? Seems like a ton of stuff is run through that, not to mention the cool little door. Not talking about wanting a thumping system, just crisp and clear.

Sorry, if I overlooked a previous post on this.

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. I didn't realize how crappy of a system GM was putting in their cars. My Raptor bumps harder than this station wagon does. very disappointed to say the least.

There is an add-on “sub” from Kicker. Cost $600-$700. There is at least one thread on it here. I can’t speak to it’s quality-wish I could-but it gets good reviews.

Other than going all out, replacing door speakers with other brands is about it. I know Infiniti makes some. Make sure to get 2ohm though, otherwise your volume will be down about 3dB, which is a lot.
