I recognize this is an ancient post - if anyone has a source for these thunderform boxes or has an old one lying around, please let me know - can't find them anywhere anymore. I'm guessing I'll end up having to one custom fabricated similarly, since I like maintaining the stock look (less likely to attract unwanted attention).

Enclosure fit 2004 Yukon perfectly. For some reason Crutchfield catalog says this fits 2001 - 2006 Tahoe but only 2001 and 2002 Yukon. I called manufacturer and they said it would fit 2004 Yukon and it did. It is roughly 6 times as large as the factory square box for the factory 8 inch sub. This enclosure takes a 10 inch low depth subwoofwer. I mounted it with a Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-10 Punch P3S 10-Inch 2-Ohm DVC Shallow Subwoofer and powered it with a Alpine MRV-M500 Mono V-Power Digital Amplifier and it was a perfect fit

It will fit all the NBS Denali. If you have the Bose Lux system with the amp in the rear you'll have to move it to the cubby that's right there just like in this thread.

I have an 04 denali so the amp is under the center console with the sub in front iv replaced. I have compleatly abandon the bose system and amp already. last piece to the puzzle is adding a 10 inch in that back panel where they had the older years. The only thing goin back there is a box with a 10 if its worth getting that thunder form or having a buddie build me one whenever. As long as that thunder form box fits there dont care if i have to move the jack and all ill put it in. Then get a sub that fits within the specs thats goin to be fed off the 5th channel of a PDX-V9 (500 Watts rms) as of now im leaning tward the SD-3 sundown sub that fits in there. but if that box fits then good to go.

When I went with an aftermarket radio, upgraded the door speakers, and added a subwoofer, I ended up building a factory amp bypass plug. It defiantly made the door speakers sound much better (I deleted the factory sub and the amp for the sub was installed there).

If you have the money, I defiantly recommend replacing the OEM system with something a little bit more modern to anyone wanting better sound from their truck.
