Hi Everyone,
2012 Tahoe: Front Blower has been intermittent. Sometime works, Sometimes dead but comes on later. Seemed to work on top 2 or 3 speeds only. Motor binding?

NOW: Now working at all..

Can someone please point to online info on how to access the blower, the cabin air filter etc?? I have never touched it. I have done lots of other mechanical/electrical work, have meters etc.

Does the 2012 year have a speed control resistor, or has it gone to electronic control?

I have read several posts about earlier models, resistor etc.

Advice appreciated!

The resistor is going to be under the pass side dash next to the blower motor assembly.

^^^ and I would have to agree 100% on the faulty blower motor resistor.

Up here to the right
Some models had a filter, but most didn’t you have to add it but there 5 or 6 7mm screws under passenger side dash, remove them, drop the black kick panel and you’ll be able to access everything you need.

Hi.. Back but No Joy yet.. And I need your sharp eyes on these modules! Got a 'new correct'? Module at O'reilly. It does not cause the fan to blow. AND it looks a little different. See here: The "Original has 3 pins in the right connector. The "new" one has only one. Can this be correct?? The BOSCH labels are different too.. Any info/pointers,advice VERY welcome. AND should I / Can I test the motor itself?? THANKS!
