Is that every version of white that has a history?
Kieth,
I didn't see this until today. On my Suburban, it's a 2014. About May of this year I noticed toward the back of the hood the paint lost its shine. It's November and the paint's become alligated in the middle of the hood and working outward. Same thing is happening to the roof.

Down here in the south, it's even more important to keep a good coat of wax on the paint and clean it often. What part of Florida are you in Ted? Treasure Coast here.

I remember back in the Eighties when I worked at a Chevy dealer in Miami, the Paint would fade on new vehicles in stock. I think that's when GM still used acrylic lacquer paint. More so on the light colored Metallic 's

The heat just bakes the paint, Get her repainted and move north. just not to the rustbelt.

just kidding!!

Following up from my November '17 post, I went to Lou Bachrodt Chevy ... my local dealer. The service department took photos and sent me to the body shop. Body shop also took pics and said they'd get the GM regional rep to look at it. Called for status a few more times, but 5 months later, still waiting. Since then the clear coat fail completely covers the hood and roof now. I'm surprised the other top surfaces still shine like new paint ... can't figure why. Isn't the whole outside of the Suburban shot at the at the same time as the factory?
