Recently purchased 09 XL with a cruise issue. Power light lights, but no action with set button. Also no hi beam beam flash from stem pull. Any opinions? thanks

Cruise control problem seems to be commonly related to a brake switch sensor connected to the brake pedal. I had similar issue and this fixed my problem. If lucky, you can buy some time by cleaning the leads on the switch and reinstalling. Not sure if previous dealer messed with mine or not but mine didnt seem to be properly screwed in or atleast kind of loose (if that matters).

Get this switch, 25981009 or D1539J, takes 5-10 minutes to install. Hi-Beam flash could be clock spring and would also relate to cruise if switch doesn't fix problem. A Tech2 is as important as a wrench for working on these trucks Gary. What state do you live in? And welcome btw!
