I would a slightly stiffer ride. 2016 Yukon, non-autoride, no mrc.

Would this kit, Product Code: 201858, if I do a 2/3 drop, accomplish that?

I sometimes tow (a small 3500lb travel trailer), how do I add helper bags to the order?

I have this kit with the front drop spindles rear end links/bump stop kit and will be installing soon on my ‘15 Yukon Denali XL 4WD. I’m after a 2”(1.75”)/3.5” drop. That being said how should I set up the rear? Use the 1” spacer keep OEM rubber spring isolators in or use the 5/8” heater hose?
Any issues installing the Belltech spindles on your 4wd? I’m leary about using the Belltech spindles on my ‘16 Yukon XL Denali 4wd due to an issue I had on my ‘13 Silverado 4wd with interference between the axle shaft, upper ball joint nut, and wheel bearing bolt.

Any issues installing the Belltech spindles on your 4wd? I’m leary about using the Belltech spindles on my ‘16 Yukon XL Denali 4wd due to an issue I had on my ‘13 Silverado 4wd with interference between the axle shaft, upper ball joint nut, and wheel bearing bolt.


Yep, you would have to trim that upper ball joint stud.

I understand that the upper ball joint stud is trimmed and assume a half-nut is needed. Even then, how close is everything? Does anyone have pics of this spindle installation on a 4wd?

Dang, can't find it right now. I did see a video of the McGaughys spindle install somewhere...

It didn't look that bad though.

Installed the McGaughys spindles on my ‘13 Silverado. They use a stud and nut on the front of the spindle in lieu of the top wheel bearing bolt and countersink the flange for the upper ball joint nut. Belltech doesn’t do this which makes the clearance around the axle shaft very, very tight.
McGaughys ‘16 Yukon XL 4wd spindle kit requires changing the upper control arms.

I haven't installed the kit yet. But now I'm curious as this is the first I've heard of there being any clearance issues or modifications being made. I was under the impression the Belltech spindles were a pretty "bolt-on" swap for the stock spindles.
