If you look at the pictures I posted a few years ago you'll see there's nothing behind it, it is only held on with adhesive.

I didn't know the SLT's had a chrome plate to remove...

Yes, just adhesive tape.

The grille logo is held on by two clips, that easily accessed by behind the grille. Pics to come...

Are you guys talking about the chrome piece on the rear hatch or the emblem on the chrome piece? I wouldn’t mind removing the GMC badge (already removed denali or yukon (forget what the rear hatch badging said) and maybe wrap the chrome piece.

It is still confusing, concerning the chrome piece UNDER the "GMC" logo on the rear hatch of a 2015+ Yukon Denali.

William Quirk is saying that it is bolted on, albeit because he saw this piece on eBay which the listing claims is OEM. (But who would go to the trouble of making one of these chrome pieces with tabs or bolts if there are no receiving holes in the hatch? So I'm thinking the chrome piece is, in fact, bolted/tabbed into the hatch.)

Then again, Pockets says it is held on with only adhesive tape, but he drives an SLT.

So...no one that knows has answered yet.
