2015 GMC Yukon Denali

Been a GMC owner all my life, but I believe this will be the last. Issue after issue. First front shocks go out which was not covered by warranty or extended warranty. Now there a rattle no one can find.
If anyone has a thought I can use the help. 50 years of GMC products but believe Ford maybe the way I'm going.

Did you have a GMEPP extended warranty which covers the MRC shocks or an after market warranty which does not. Where is the rattle coming from. Dealers usually don't spend a whole lot of time trying to locate rattles.

I believe I have the GMEPP,I was told they turned it down. Car only had less than 60,000 at the time. I believe that caused something to loosen which caused the rattle

You should definitely confirm who your extended warranty coverage is through as that will make a big difference.

I may be wrong but a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali with around 60K miles on it is outside the standard manufacturer's bumper to bumper warranty and only has the powertrain warranty left. At that point shocks and struts are wear and tear items similar to brakes.

As mentioned, you should definitely confirm who your extended warrant coverage is through.

All of my current vehicles have been recalled for one thing or another, whether it be door latches, CO leaks, steering wheels that can come off, airbags that may not deploy, etc. Ford or GM, does not matter. All have issues and we are seeing more recalls today because manufacturers are afraid of being spanked by the feds.
