First post and would love to hear what you guys think. I have a 2016 Yukon Denali and I am trying to get more of an aggressive look to toughen her up.

I notice with the 6 in lifts they all seem to be high, tires tucked under, and not many with an aggressive stance where the tires are sticking out at least 2 inches. (I know its cause of the GM wheel well) but what have you guys done or have you seen anything to kinda get that wide tire lift look?

Ive been to every shop, and googled to the ends of earth but heres what I'm looking at doing right now.

Leveling kit.
33x12.50
18x9 rims with a -12 offset
minor trimming needed most likely.

Anyone running anything similar? Any suggestions? I'm afraid of I do the 6in lift I'm just going to be running a 35x12.50 and its going to look high and top heavy with it not being too wide.

Sounds like a good plan to me, and the 18s will give you more sidewall while still looking good on a Denali - depending on what kind of rims you get. Do you have any in mind? 33 is a great size on K2XXs with a level. I'd avoid the 6" and 35 combo, but not because it looks bad - because of the increased cost, decreased mpg, and the extra wear on your truck's suspension. But if you're interested in going that route, I have seen a few on here with 6"/35s and wide stance, check out the picture thread and just keep scrolling through, you'll be sure to find a few.

You can go as wide and aggressive as your heart desires.

The wider you go the more lift you will need and/or the more trimming you will need to do. The wheel openings on these do not take much over a 35” tire very easily without lots of lift or trimming. Heck, the factory 22” wheel and tire combo nearly rubs the fender liners as it is.

If you want 35's, i recommend you install a 6" lift. We still have minor rubbing issues when the wheels are turned and the suspension is compressed. Nothing major tho.

I believe I'm going with the following to get an aggressive wide stance where the wheels will stick out at least 3 inches from the fenders.

18x9 -12 - method nv bronze
33x12.50 - terra grapplers g2 or possibly ridge grapplers
Fabtech Leveling kit

Blacked my car out so theres no chrome execpt on the door handles, and I need to finish the grille.

But what do you guys think? will this give me the aggressive wide stance I'm looking for?

I don't think those wheels will stick out 3" from fenders, that's more of a x12 -44 wheel. Also make your own lift kit from companies instead of 6" kit. I would get a 4" CST front kit, rough country rear shock brackets from their 3.5" kit, ebay 2" coil spacers, FTS ride height rod extensions, and maybe an adjustable panhard bar. This will easily clear 33s but sit up a true 4-4.5"
in front and rear to match level while retaining autoride.

I want a a WIDE look with 18inch rims, where it has more tire to look like it could actually go off road, these low profile WIDE rim with deep dish just seem silly to me.. I like it, but I don't think I would want to do it, if I can obtain the look I'm looking for.

I was really hoping I could get that NV bronze Method wheel on the blacked out denali it would for sure look tough.

4" lifts can fit 33s. You might be able to push a larger 33 with the CST kit since it doesn't increase track width. I think the bronze wheel will look cool on a black denali and have meaty tires. A rough estimate only kicks those wheels out about 2.5" from stock so they will be outside the fenders a little but not wide. You could always get the zone 4" kit which increases front track width 1.5" each side. That kit plus wheels equals 4" from stock, downside is decreased turning radius from kit increase and you need rear wheel spacers to even track width.

Really depends on what you want to spend. I would take a true 4” lift over and 2.5” level kit. If you do a knuckle lift you lose turning radius but wheels stick out 1-1.5” in front only. Need wheel spacers in rear to even width but that will help 18s stick out further.

I think wheels will be good if you want that look. I think as big as a burb is 20s are even small sometimes. Really depends on tire choices and cost you want to spend.
