Did you consider the new Expedition? I think thats more similar to a Yukon Denali than an Acadia is? Though I have never been in an Acadia so just referencing it from the outside.
We rented an Acadia on vacation once. If I were to ever go back to a small SUV, it would be a Grand Cherokee.

My wife just picked up a new Acadia Denali last Friday. She likes it so far and, the one time I did drive it, I liked all the tech compared to my 15 Silverado.

really?

the only difference in tech I see from my 2015 Tahoe with luxury package is Apple Car play and the 360 degree camera.

I was surprised how responsive the Acadia is, handles well too

Yes but your Tahoe may have had more than my Silverado, just a guess.

I tried talking my into a tahoe but we go a 2017 Acadia all terrain in black. We love it. The 3.6l has tons of power and still can get 30 mpg.

I had no idea that the Acadia had an all terrain package. Had to look it up. I'm sorry, not hating on your Acadia, this is more of a rant against GM branding, but what about it makes it "all-terrain?" It's got no added ground clearance above any other Acadia trim, 20" wheels on street tires with barely any sidewall (pretty sure that 17s or 18s would fit around the calipers, and even p-rated Duratracs would be better than the street Michelins it comes with stock), and no 2-speed transfer case.

Mine has 18" rims, all terrian package is mostly apperance. Different interior, has black chrome trim and black headlights.

BUT the awd system has an upgraded twin clutch system and different awd settings.

My wife just loved how it looks so that is why we bought it. We love it so far. And when the tires wear out, I will put a more aggressive tire on it.

Ive never seen those wheels on an the all terrain before.

Now that they made 6 and 7 seat options avaialble for the all terrain option, I may look into that package as well. if for nothing else the AMAZING Kalahari interior

Thanks for the reply. It looks much better with the 18s than the 20s. I'm glad that's offered, since every picture I've seen of an All Terrain package online has had 20s. Good to see the AWD settings are exclusive as well.

When our Yukon was in the shop (multiple times) I was given a new Acadia for a loaner. It did everything better than our Yukon and I enjoyed driving the Acadia more. The only thing it can't do for us is tow. We need every bit of the yukons towing capacity or we would switch over to a terrain.
