05 Nali XL driver door power prob

I started having 2 problems, which may actually be one, I'm not sure:
- I intermittently lose power to the driver door switches
- Interior lights stay on and truck doesn't recognize the door is closed

I read that the BCM senses the door is clos3ed through the door latch. IS that right? Any help or things I should check? I have the door torn apart now...

I had read to check the orange power wire that comes into the drive door module (in the front connector) for power so I did that tonight. I have power coming through to the DDM. I really didn't think the DDM would be bad after replacing it in the last few years, but maybe it is.

RESOLVED. To help others here's what the dealer found: I had a broken power wire coming through the door into the DDM. Apparently there are 2 power leads that come into the DDM. I was so close..... ANyway, fixed all power probs, door chime etc work.
