So here is a question for those that have/had auto ride and lowered your trucks.

When installing 2" spindle and 2" struts will I have to adjust the linkage on the ride height sensors up front in order to not get lights on the dash?

I know I need resistors for the struts BUT I am asking about the height sensors.

Also... Will the 1° camber plates be enough to get the front end aligned since it is technically only a 2" drop not counting the spindles? Or will I need the 2° bushings?

There are no height sensors in the front.

Not sure. I had/have the belltech camber kit and it's fine with 2" spindles and 2" drop struts

Ok... perhaps I am mis speaking myself. They may not be "height" sensors but there are sensors with a rod attached to the upper control arm that relay the road surface conditions to the electronic suspension control module to vary and adjust the valving in the front autoride struts accordingly.

So with that being said... Will I need to shorten the rods or if I disconnect them will I have a light on the dash?

Also when you say you had/have the Belltech kit... which one are you referring to?

From what I gather there are 3...

1. Camber plates which give you an additional 1° of positive camber.

2. Offset bushings for the upper control arms which provide and additional 2° of positive camber.

3. And a combination of the two which of course gives you an additional 3° of positive camber.

You won't need to do anything in the front with the auto ride suspension... I have the bushings

Do you happen to know if the full 2° were needed to get it aligned?

The reason I ask is I recently replaced my upper control arms with Moog uppers and I really don't want to have to press out old and press in new bushings if I don't have to.

I am really hoping I can get away with just notching the control arm brackets and using the cam plates since its really only compensating for 2 of the 4 inches since the other 2 inches are from spindles.

Sorry for all the questions but I am getting one of Tony's 0-4/5-6 kits that is "pre-owned"... lol... and I don't think it will have the camber kit so I am trying to figure out exactly what I need to order.

Thanks for the help so far.
