Stock bose speakers started popping?

For any of y’all out there that still have there stock bose audio system and have speakers that start popping... mine started the popping but only when it was cold out. If it was a warm day, I had no issues.
After cleaning and insuring all connectors were good and doing a lil preventive maintenance with die electric grease. I grab a hair dryer and proceeded to heat my amp. Apparently a chip or prong internal has slightly separated and loses connection when cold. Heated it up and contacts closed and back in bussiness... just a simply quick way to verify the amp is your problem.

lol yeah it’s only supposed to get down to the 30’s this week. Sunshine state, my ass.

Wow that sucks, but it's crazy that worked lol. I've never had that problem up here in Alaska.
Can't wait to tear my bose out this spring.

I used to have a old alpine amp that would not turn on until you ran the floor heater for about 5 minutes when it was cold out, it wasn't a big deal enough to change it out, just run the heater and play on, lol

I thought you only have 2 seasons up there. Winter and Not Winter.
Yea. And in the winter my bose works. Also in the not winter it works too. Well not now because 3 out of 4 speakers are blown....make sense
