Your computer would get upset and show an error code and initiate a speed limiter.

There is a delete plug so you can remove the shocks. But for those with the air bags in the rear shock, it’s going to take some thought for replacing those

Any luck @bhodge ? Just bought a 2015 LTZ Tahoe and drove it 400 miles to San Francisco. The magnetic ride was terrible on certain freeways but nice on the highways. You could feel most every bump. Think I will be looking for a fix eventually. Plan on having the truck a long time.

I ordered them today and order Fox coilovers for the front and the Fox 2.0 for the rear. Once everything is here and installed I'll let you know how it worked.

Finally got the Mag Ride deleted today. Thanks to Maxxed Performance in Baytown for installing the Fox coilovers W/ DSC adjusters and 2.0 rear shocks. The http://www.xineering.com dongles seem to be working like they should. We only got to put a few miles on it but the wife was happy. Better pics once i get it cleaned up.

Hello Brent,

Did you do anything with regards to the ECU or software? I am very curious as I have a 2015 Denali with the same crappy Magnetic Suspension, and my to go replacement would be the fox 2.0's

Was is just a matter of nuts and bolts?

Cheers!

It is all just bolt on and plug in the new sensors to delete the Mag Ride shocks. No cutting or splicing is required and completely reversible if I decide to trade it in. We were able to put about 100 miles on it yesterday and when I say it was night and day, I really mean it. It is SO much different that I can't believe it. Ours is a pre 02/15 truck, so we had the old programming and it was never updated so my results may more significant that other with later, more updated ride software.
