There is a TSB for the 2017 models (may also include the Escalade). It is: TSB 17-NA-269 dated November 22, 2017. Worked on my 17 Suburban.

Thanks for the heads up
I tried to get my dealer to apply the "fix" to my 2017 Yukon Denali and they said it didn't apply to my car since I have rear seat entertainment option. Does your Suburban have RSE? My rear view camera is worthless at night - too bright and washes out the view.

Buy an aftermarket Camera and wire it up.
I understand the point is you have a new vehicle and everything should work but if the dealer can’t do anything about it that will be my option. personally I would fight with the dealer until they get it right

I have a base Suburban, no RSE. The TSB seems to indicate that vehicles may be equipped with RSE. You may want to take it to another dealer if necessary.
I note that the TSB applies to 17 and 18 Tahoe’s, Suburbans and Yukons through June 12, 2017 production.
