I'm looking at Katzkins in black for an interior upgrade for the Silverado. Looks like $570 will get me the whole Club Cab kit. Not a bad price for that kind of an upgrade plus it will be a nice wintertime project since I can bring the seats indoors to work on them. I'm not a fan of the stock cloth plus my dog will make a mess of it.

Hey Mark, wondering how big of a difference did adding the sway bar and end links etc add to your handling? Is it really worth the price?

I was looking for a set for that NNBS Silverado , not my NBS Yukon Denali, plus I ended up not buying the Silverado anyway.
Honestly, I hadn't realized what was going on. Found post when i was searching for something else lol

anything new happening with your Denali?
No, I decided to not spend any more on it. I might have a bit of minor bodywork done, the hood needs a bit of work as well as the rear bumper. But I'm happy with it and it's an absolute blast to drive which is what I want for a DD. I want to keep it reliable and so I decided that I don't want to do all the upgrades needed for more boost. I'm afraid if I upgrade the fuel pump, injectors, FPR, map sensor and have a 2-bar tune done, I'll keep adding boost until I start breaking shit. It's plenty fast as it is. I've set my sights on a bagged NNBS club cab set up to tuck 26's. I miss having my bagger and I need something that I can just drive once in awhile, something that nobody else around here has. I don't know if I'm gonna buy one already done or do the work with my nephew, he's bagged quite a few rigs. Either way, that's my new goal.

Sounds like a good plan red emoji106.png, only you knows whats best for your situation, if you need a DD and a toy, go for it.
I've always had some nice toys, for a long time they've been highly modded Harleys. When I was younger it was fast boats with 1000hp big blocks. I still have a V-Rod that I have a boatload of cash into that I'll sell eventually because I just can't take the risk riding anymore. It's kind of like you and the airbags in your NNBS's - we all have to decide how much of a risk we're willing to take. Riding bikes, to me, was a risk that I was always willing to take until I wasn't. The slim chance that the airbags in the GM's would hurt me doesn't bother me, but I've always been a risk-taker, and I don't have anybody but myself to worry about. So, now that I'm not going to be riding Harley's and I'll end up with quite a bit out of them, I have some cash to play with. I'm not planning on going too crazy on the new truck but it won't be too shabby either. It's easy to go overboard though.

cool man. i hear ya. i would love to just drive your denali and see how much all your upgrades blow mine away :) and likewise, i am pretty close to being done with all the big upgrades on mine. the rest is all small stuff from here on out.

i'm sure your next rig will be bad ass once you put your twist on it. i'm probably going to sell my '50 next year. i have had it for almost 10 years now and i am ready for a new classic build and stack some cash for a house etc..
