These things FLY open, you gotta watch it. People open them and they sling open and bounce back. Is there a way to adjust these doors?

Thanks

Yes, everything is in place, they function properly, I have just never had one this bouncy or loose. My mom's 2012 Tahoe doors open normally. I was wondering if something can be tightened on these...

Maybe inside the door where the liitle bar goes thru the door, maybe you can squeeze the metal grommet if you can get your hand in there and if its even possible. But then it may squeak.... just thinkin outloud .02 from me

Install some Dynamat or Noico on the door. A good quality sound damper will add more mass to the door and keep it from opening too quickly.

To experience the other extreme, remove the interior trim piece and interior handles and see how quickly the doors fly open. My 300zx's doors weigh about 100lbs a piece assembled so they take serious force to close and reasonable force to open.

Thanks guys I will give all of this a shot. I DO have a lot of Noico left over from when I first bought the truck and was replacing all the door speakers. I can add extra for sure. I've ignored it up until now, until we all went to dinner the other night and everyone who sat in the back would slam the piss outta the doors, "oh sorry these doors are sensitive"
