dam those look rough!.....So the Belltech struts are height adjustable? thats cool. What the going rate on the belltechs?

Just what are the differences between PPV and stock(suspension wise)....is it just different springs?....if so where can you buy?

I don't know much about the Belltechs. But after doing some reading here, it looks like these are the way to go for PPV'S

The PPV has much stiffer shocks than a stock Tahoe. It also has shorter front and rear coil springs making it sit 1" lower in the front and 2" lower in the rear.

The tires are 265/60R17 on PPV. Stock is 265/70R17. The PPV tires also contribute to the lower ride height due to the lower profile tire.

Someone on here said the PPV OEM shocks are not valved right for this vehicle. Makes sense. Something just doesn't seem right with the way these ride. They are very harsh and bouncy. I just replaced all my shocks with OEM. But now I would like to soften up the ride a bit and that's where the Belltech's come in. Too bad I just spent over 3 bills on the OEM shocks. UGH.

Any updates on this??. Mine too is way harsh. Have a 2014 PPV and looking to make the ride smoother just like y’all. Was going to go with stock but may change to bell tech now. Any info would be appreciated.
On another note I’m also looking for stock console and captains chairs if anyone has leads

How many miles do your struts/shocks have?

I am about to install new OEM PPV struts/shocks. They were pretty hard to find and the model numbers are different for the fronts and rears vs civilian. If you install civilian struts/shocks but keep PPV springs, I'm pretty sure the valving will be incorrect. I'm wondering if people who have ride problems are installing the correct OEM PPV struts?

Rears were probably originals with about 36k. Fronts recently done by dealer.
Update. Front struts replaced by dealer. Minor improvement and dealer says everything else is ok and checked out fine (dealer said fronts were replaced for customer enthusiasm ). 600miles later truck is out of warranty and I decide to replace rear shocks only (with beltech) just to confirm my suspicions. Turns out my 2 rear PPV shocks were bad( dealer says “it’s supposed to ride like that , it’s a PPV”) changes with bel tech temporarily and it’s an unreal improvement. Going to stock springs and bel tech shocks and struts all the way around.( it was a pain to get rear beltech’s in but only very temporary. I believe once I get stock springs in ride will be much better). PPV springs are about 1.5in shorter than stock
