OK, at it again. Got the GM ones and apparently they are old stock since I can only get 2 to be re-learned.

Am looking at some Dorman's, wondering if there is anyway to tell from the boxes if there is a date code?

Well, one of them is probably from 2014 so already it is 3+ years old. Every person I see with problems with those sensors has metal valve stems.

Did you get the GM one from that auction I used?

No, got them elsewhere.

How can you tell they are from 2014? What numbers are dates codes?

The bottom right is copywrite from 2014, the bottom left, 2015 and so might the top left. Obviously they use a new copywrite every year.

OK, so I bought another set of 4, were supposed to be some OEM brand, but I ended up with a set of Dorman 974-009. They work great, gotten pretty good at taking the tires off, breaking the outside bead on my manual tire machine, putting the new TPMS's in since its the 3rd time I have done this in the last month!.

The Dorman's are nice, they have the screw in style valve's and the cover is chrome rather than silver like the original one's.

They registered just fine, all 4 are being seen and show the tire pressure!

WHOOPEE! Done with that! What a PITA!
