Hi everybody! So last night I purchased a 2008 Tahoe LT1. Absolutely love it and it is beautiful inside! Only problem is for some reason the rear doors can not be opened from the inside. The button on the drivers door will not unlock them, nor will the remote. You can not even pull the locks up from the inside, but the doors open just fine from the outside. Also, the windows will not roll down, but the do if you use the drivers controls. It's like it's stuck in some child lock mode (which it isn't on child lock) anyone know what's going on here? I'm a little frustrated with the whole situation, also when you pull the door handle it doesn't feel like it is connected to anything, but springs right back...just doesn't feel the way the front doors do when you pull the handle. Thank you in advance!

Hmm, is there any chance that this used to be a Police vehicle? If so, it's possible that they disconnected the rear door handles on the inside. Especially since you say that it feels weird, as if something isn't connected. Only way to find out for sure would be to remove the door panel and see what's going on. Hopefully it's just disconnected and all you will need to do is reconnect the cables back to the door handles. If you have a handle or cable broken, then those parts will need to be replaced.

Thank you. I wasn't told it was a police vehicle. Is there any certain way to know? I will pop off the panels and look them over! Didn't even think about the possibly of it being one. Would it be a scary buy if it was a police vehicle? I know they drive them hard!
