Chrome window trim

Any tutorials on how to black out the chrome window trim?
Any tips?
What vinyl is best for this

I apologize if this has already been talked about a million times. I did a quick search and very new here.

I did mine using the vinyl from shadowlinetrim.com. They offer both matte and gloss options. The tutorial on there is easy to follow as well.

Do you need to remoce the trim from the truck?

Most people won't remove the trim because it's relatively difficult. I didn't remove them when I wrapped my window trims.

Make sure you use sharp razor blades...and change them often to ensure sharpness. Be careful when cutting. There are rubber weather strips in certain areas that you don't want to cut. You also have to be careful not to slip and nick/scratch your paint.

Take your time.

I don't know if my window trim is the same and I am talking at the base of the windows but it could not be more simple to remove. You just lift it up. There are a few clips but it comes right out. I had mine wrapped and it took the guy maybe 10 minutes to do all 4 windows. I then had him fix a small area the vinyl bunched and he literally popped the trim out in a second and cut it with a razor blade and had it back installed all in less than a minute.
