quick question- can I take the seat heaters out of the passenger seat and put them in my not working drivers seat? can i just transfer them?

im not sure which pad is bad, so im hoping I can just trouble shoot when I do the work, then buy one for the passenger when I feel like it..

thanks for any help
If you look for the parts online, they only show a front bottom or front back. No left or right. So I'd say yes. But it is a hassle to pull a seat and the cover just so you know. YouTube it and you'll see.

The seats actually aren’t too difficult to pull apart to get y the heater element. However to open up both seats just to swap one pad is a lot of work. You would be better off just ordering a new one and only having to take apart one seat. It’s orobably your bottom cushion that the heater element is out. That’s typically the one that goes. And that part is fairly inexpensive.

thanks guys!

I know it's alot of work and watched a video of how it's done, and it seems tedious, but I don't want to hear it from my wife anymore, and that time of year is coming( "it's freezing, I wish the seat warmers worked" ad nauseum)

I would also figure out which one is bad( by swapping one at a time) and then keep it out all together till I buy a new one. I found one for $100, but that's alot for a warm ass, so I figure the passenger can lose out till I decide it's worth it( next winter lol).

and as the parts go, ac Delco whenever they sell it.. rock auto is an awesome site for cheap parts!!

I love the red on the denali!!!

got the intake, pulled the battery negative, installed it and the window shocks, reattached the battery and took it for a 20 mile drive... I will say with confidence that there is more low end torqur, less pedal lag, and just all around better.. im happy, and I don't have to hold the back window up with my head anymore.. movin on uuup!!! lol

I would like to add that there is a noticeable tone change in the motor, me likey

got the window tint done...

I love the windshield tint, takes away almost all ligh5 glare at night, you know, the "shining star" coming off headlights... gone. Nice.

and I wish i could do the front more than 35%, but I don't want to contribute to state funding anymore...lol

will take pics of the tint and put them up..

leather cleaned and conditioned all the seats today!!! I'll take pics of that too.
