What is the price difference between a 4x4 Suburban LS and a comparably equipped SSV or 1FL? Assume the purchaser is a LEO or other qualified profession?
Suburban LS starts at about $50-51k without options.
A 1FL Suburban is still around $49k without options.
A 1FL Tahoe is about $47k w/o Options
A SSV Tahoe is about $43k w/o Options
This is before GM bid assistance which can knock a Tahoe down to the mid ~$30s

And GM will give bid assistance to me as a LEO or firefighter for use as a POV?

IIRC when I worked at a dealer last year, I think it's ONLY if you 'Piggyback" on a large city/state bid purchase. If approved, Then vehicle gets built along with that order sequence for that agency.

No, only for government bids. Even as working for the dealer in fleet, I would not be able to get one for $36k unless it had 5800+ miles on it as a "demo" or it was a previous year leftover.

I thought so. Sounded too good to be true. So how much would a new Suburban SSV 4x4 set me back? I have a base LS with the safety package and front tow hooks.

Paid $46K plus tags, tax and freight for the 1LS with the safety package. Don’t see an advantage for the 1FL for personal use. Am I missing something?
1FL is just a downgraded 1LS. It gets steelies and can get the center console removed and a few other options. These prices I gave are for MY18
