I went with 3157. Same socket and since its an LED bulb, I'm not worrying about heat.

Did a little shootout between parts store tire pressure gauges. Looks like the Slime branded one is as good as my Longacre one!
Thanks, I've never had a decent gauge. I just ordered the Slime one.

Yes socket and base is same. But the watts is different. Causing the 3157 to burn out fast

Interesting, guess that's why I saw 4117 as recommended but 3157 as one that still fit. I'll see how long these last and then get a new pair if they burn out

Got my replacement last week for my blown led. View attachment 183412

Where'd you get the replacements from?
Those look identical to the ones I have, but I got mine off E-bay. I had one die on me less than 2 weeks after installing them, the seller sent me a complete kit for $15 shipped. I now have one of the two LED's out in my driver's side, I need to have a couple as spares.

I bought mine off Amazon. The seller , based in Hong Kong, shipped me the replacement. First I had to cut the wire coming from it and send a pic to them, so they could verify I wasn't trying to rip them off. IMAG2902.jpg

I think EVERY one of those are coming from Hong Kong, it's just a matter of which of the thousands of 12 yr old girls in the factories made it....

I would be more than happy to be able to get just the bulbs and fins. The ballasts work fine.

i like my longacre, got it last year. but i didnt opt for liquid filled.
i liked it better than the other cheaper versions... b/c the cheap ones have a +/-4# allowance
the LA has accuracy of 2% & reads in 1/2# increments. think it was a deluxe model for about 35

Crap now I had to order a Longacre. You guys are killing me lol. Just kidding; now I'll be able to see if the Green Slime is accurate.
