Hey guys I bought all the parts to redo my AC on my 2003 Denali. My question is should there be an O-ring at the orifice tube connector also at the rear expansion valve flare connectors? I took it apart and did not see an o-ring on ether connection am I missing something or is there no oring?

Anyone? I've been struggling all day to remove rear expansion valve, the larger connector does not want to come when I'm done from the EVAP core. My rear AC lines are seized on to the stud underneath of the vehicle. I cannot remove the EVAP core without ruining the hoses and I don't want to spend that much money for lines I'm just going to leave the expansion valve I have the smaller line that runs to the junction block underneath of the vehicle removed and need to know if no ring should go at the connection I do not see one currently if anyone can help I would really like to get it back together tonight

Wish i could help but i dont really know much about the ac system, i would assume there would be a o ring where needed so if theres not one then maybe its not required there.

I looked at it more closely and double checked there wasn't an o ring and I put it back together. This whole Endeavor has been enough to drive a guy to drink LOL. I really wish I could get the rear AC lines separated from the EVAP core but Michigan Winters and all the road salt have them cemented together. I definitely do not want to Shell out the $370 for rear AC lines. The block off kits are pretty expensive themselves and it looks like most need you to remove the rear AC lines anyways. I'm hoping it will all work out the line seemed fairly clean when I was flushing it. All I have left to do is put the compressor on and hope for the best.
