What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Got rear ended today... idk if hat counts?! But yeah... some ******* gassed it while we had both been sittin at a red light. He admitted that he was lookin down at his phone and saw cars moving in the lane next to us (it was the turn lane) and hit the gas without ever looking up.

He WAS driving a Ford Escape. My 3-way hitch went through his trans cooler, condenser, his radiator and sandwiched his cooling fans between those and his engine block.

I barely had a scuff on the white of my bumper on my driver side from his plastics.

Sooo... I cleaned my rear bumper today?

Saturday - discovered I had a screw in between one of the tread blocks on my Grabber ATII's. Drove it over 100 miles after checking the air pressure.

Sunday - had to drive over 200 miles to go fix a door for a friend. Checked pressure on the way out, was right where it was previously. Got ready to leave to head back home, tire was almost flat - stopped 3x to pump it up from sub-20psi to 50+psi, got home with no problem. Drove it to Goodyear, asked them plug it, as I've got new 275/65/20 Falken Wildpeaks waiting for my 20x8.5 Denali wheels to get refinished.

Monday - checked in on it, after telling them it needed an alignment, and an oil change. Was told they were swamped, would be the end of the day, if not Tuesday AM.

Tuesday - was told the pitman and idler arms had a ton of play, ordered them from Advanced Auto, delivered in the afternoon. Their best alignment tech had the day off, they wanted him to dial in my alignment.

Wednesday - after getting it up on the rack, the tech noticed a lot more play than the previous guy did. Fumbled around, saw that I needed new upper ball joints..... which I had JUST replaced in early February, as part of the control arm assembly! Of course, nearly 14K in mileage since, but still???? So they are warrantying them out - but I'm going to have to turn my Torsion bars down a bit, so Advanced can't say they were "extended past normal operating limits".

So, tomorrow I'll get it back. I'd also replaced the sway bar links, and all four tie rod ends back in February too. Should ride like a completely new truck.

Big tires or wheels play havoc on our rigs. I rebuilt my front end a year ago and I feel play again.

Been down that road before, with my old '88 S-10 Blazer w/ 265/75/16's on Corvette wheels, my '96 Tahoe w/ 285/75/16's, my '01 Suburban w/ the same, and now this one (same size).

I'm hoping all MOOG components will last a lot longer, otherwise I may wind up going Cognito or similar for the UCA's... they do have some awesome UniBall ones that offer more travel...

All my stuff was Moog's top of the line. (They have some less expensive UCA's with non-replaceable ball joints)
