I've run a couple sets of them on my truck in 285 and 305s. Got about 40k miles out of them. Loved the wet weather handling, grip and rooster tail flying down the hwy lol.. No complaints in the dry other than some road noise after a year on each set. They have a high treadwear rating without the drawbacks of hard tires and they have a nice looking tread pattern if that matters. I ran them on my 20's and now running a different tire on 24s and the level of grip dropped but that may be due to the lack of sidewall. I've seen them on a lot of cars and trucks, even a Panamera.

It seems that this tire used to be consistently good if not great and that recent production may be very inconsistent in terms of wear and grip.

I believe this tire is being discontinued and prices are now lower.

I found a couple posts on some other forums from 2011 & 2015 about how they were going to be discontinued and replaced with the 421, but if you search 275/55/20 on Nitto's site the 420s is still listed, the low price was what caught my eye Nitto is a decent brand and other forums seemed to love these tires

When I threw my 20's on a scored a set of GM spec Bridgestone tires off I think a NNBS Tahoe LTZ tires had like 3k on them a few years back but they have some dry rot starting and there close to 6 years old so even tho they got good tread I'm gonna replace them (there a decent tire but I'd never pay what they go for new so many other options out there) and came across the Nitto 420s other forums seem to love them and you can't beat the price, but it looks like there discontinuing them? And that might be why there kinda cheap, I'm leaning towards getting them if I can still find them in a week or 2

Had them in a couple major snow storms (foot deep or so) and they performed flawlessly. Also did well in rain
