I'm not sure how much smoother or slicker my paint can feel. You can't set a microfiber or anything on my hood without it sliding off
Maguiars NXT wax which I used for a couple of years is actually a sealant, but listed as a wax not to confuse customers.
I honestly don't think it really matters whether you use a sealant or high quality wax, just as long as you apply something as needed.
I doubt I would be able to tell the difference between identical cars with one treated with a sealer and the other with a good quality polymer wax. It all comes down to personal preference.
There is no doubt that every good detail starts with a clay bar job.
