Not just that, but my preset buttons work even if the Tahoe is off. So the task of "having to put everything in my hands on the seat to start the vehicle" seems unneeded. Plus if you're doing that in the doorway anyway and don't have remote start, your AC isn't even cold yet. So what exactly is the complaint?

Concur. While I liked my 08 LT, my 17 LS is much nicer all around.
