Power steering whine

Sup guys i just changed my power steering pump after the old one was leaking. Now i have a whine when i accelerate or turn left or right. I bleeded the brake booster a few times through the return and still whining. I also have a shake at almost full lock. What can be the problem?

U sure fluid is topped off and belt is on right and lined up?

GOt it fixed i got a 2nd pump brand new acdelco the 1st was remanufactured and finally no whine or nothing.

Was gonna say, my work truck, last year i think? Maybe 2 yrs ago Needed a ps pump and they got a reman one and same thing, got another reman and was fine but i was doubting would be same... sorry i didn't mention it

Thats typically what they do when they dont get a good rebuild. I remember I did a ford (not mine, just sayin') one many years ago and that reman was the loudest pump I ever heard still to this day.

Sometimes you get a rebuild that is done right and sometimes they are worse than the part you are replacing. It happens.
