From customer feedback, the Whipple's instructions leave much to be desired and are not as straight forward as those of the Magnacharger. From personal experience on these vehicles, the Maggie has a much smoother transition into boost than the Whipple. Still both are great systems, we are running both on our personal vehicles, no issues.

For the 5.3L, no need to go with a 2.9L system, overkill due to the positively actuated bypass.

Whipple instructions haven't been bad mine were very clear. If anyone wants a pdf on install pm me I can show you.

Either way you go both good set ups BTW look at underhood of pics of a 1.9 Maggie or 2.3 vs a 2.9 Whipple. The Whipple is just massive!!!

I'm almost running 115 mph in the 1/4 and that's on 7.5 psi.

I really can't wait to Crack 11s with the meth hooked up. Off the line is just brutal lol

People can post dyno numbers but 1/4 Mile is where I like to see real testing which I will be doing more of. I'm planning to step to 11 to 12 psi. I will be testing the weak spots for sure

We have both a TVS2300 and a Whipple 2.9, so I am aware of what they look like under the hood. We personally have not had any install issues on either system, but our customers who install the Whipples do have problems, as the instructions are not as detailed as they should be.

Personally, I don't care how my vehicle performs at the track, as it is my daily. I need the smooth power transition for getting onto the FWY with such a land yacht.

Bigger is not always better, I strongly recommend that folks do a full system analysis before throwing money at a mod. We have downsized superchargers for quite a few customers, no need to spend the extra dollars on a larger system when it is not needed. Yes, we could just take their money and ignore it, but educating folks on these mods is something we take pride in.

I'm happy I went bigger :) I'm looking forward to seeing some 1/4 mile times as more of both the magna charger and Whipple kits get out there.

You have the 6.2L, so the 2.9 makes perfect sense (although you could have gotten by with a smaller system).

We sell all major brand name superchargers, but we also tune them. We know the little performance nuances that can rear their ugly heads with improper mod pairing.

I just install and for the basic customer the Whipple does 500 on pump gas on the bigger motors on their tunes. 5.3 on stock Whipple tune does 430 to 440.

Also my buddy does lots of these and i can offer tuning via hp tuners for those that want more. Instagram gptuning. Matts a great guy to work with even if you guys don't want blower but more power on a naturally asperated rig.

We are just bunch of hot rodding guys that do this for fun and matt helps me on the tuning side
