Good morning ....

just ordered a set of stainless steel brake lines for my Tahoe... ( 919 152 Dorman )

How did you change the Brake lines.... did you lift up the body on the left side ..or is it more comfortable
to remove the fuel tank...get get a better access to the rear brake line...

Thank you for some input

I just completed this project. Its a beast of a job. I removed the spare tire, and ended up having to remove fuel tank to be able to remove the retaining clips that hold the brake lines in place.

Make sure you don't have stability control. If you do its a different set of brake lines. I made this mistake and had to exchange the brake line set.

Good luck!

forgot to ask... how difficult was it to get the stainless steel lines leakfree.. I think Stainless steel needs to be tightend are lot more than the normal brake lines...

I am a little afraid ..because my fear is to break the ABS block.... looks like he is made out of aluminium
my plan is ....to cut the old brake lines...one by one close to the nut. Andthe I will use a socket to unscrew the nut out of the ABS block
