That is what I want ideally, but they aren't coming anywhere near Savannah, GA for a while.
Then I would to the scan cable tune. You pay I think $250 for the scanner, they send it out, you plug it into the OBD 2 and download the files onto a computer and email them the files, they make changes and send them back and you pay $300 I think and you download the files onto the scanner then plug the scanner back in to put the files into the trucks computer. Then send the scanner back and you get your $250 back. So it ends up being about $300

That is probably just as good as the in person, huh?

It's pretty much the same thing, they just aren't sitting in your truck, which could be a disadvantage because they aren't feeling how the truck is reacting and how it's shifting, but I think it would be just as good. Better than the traditional tune

So on the Black Bear website it says you have to do a crank relearn procedure when swapping out the stock PCM for a tuned one that was previously in another vehicle. My question is if i go to the tunning location and they load the tune onto the PCM in my truck do i need to do the relearn?

If you`re not swapping the pcm and just getting the one already in your truck tuned you don`t need to do anything.

Is the somerset NJ meet happening? It`s only about an hour away from our area and easy to get to. I got a 91 octane tune first at an albany ny meet and went for the 93 retune in somerset.
