i went from factory 17s to 22s. And the guy at NTB gave me a lecture about it messing up my ABS. And destroying my MPG. Any of this true?

I went from 16`s to 20`s with no issues other than slightly worse mpg. I believe 20`s were an option on 05 tahoe`s and yukons as well.

Ok. Thanks man. Was such a buzz kill. I was so excited to get them on. He refused to put them on my Yukon. I had to do it at home.

That`s ridiculous. He`s right about the mpg but i don`t know where he came up with the abs crap. My abs works perfectly.

Oh hell no it wont mess up your ABS and I doubt 20's will affect your MPG either.

I lost 1.5 mpg when i went to 20`s. I had an old scale in the garage and weighed the old and new ones. The 16`s tire and wheel were 76 pounds each and the 20`s were 94 pounds. It also doesn`t help that i have 3:42 gears.

I went from 16's to 22's with no abs problems either. I'm sure my mpg's went down. Those 22's are heavy mofo's too! I could see how they'd affect gas mileage.

I can't keep track of my drop in MPG it just keeps going down down down and the Whipple I'm about to install sure isn't going to help lol.
