I am suffering from a fair amount of condensation in my drivers side headlight. I am going to try to remove and reseal before replacing it. Are there common areas that tend to leak or is it just random at any place the clear cover mates to the housing. I have read about drilling a drain hole. Has anyone done this with success?

I really wouldn't drill a hole if it was mine. Just take the lens out and try to get as much as the water out. Try to stick a rag with a thin screwdriver or something and try to work it around in there, getting as much moisture as you can. I did that with mine then used a hair dryer. Worked well for me. Put a bead of silicone completely around the lens. Some guys cut out some material and used it as a gasket where the bulbs pops into the lens itself. That should work, but make sure you get all the moisture out or you'll still get condensation.
