I'd love to track down a PPV air dam... I'm too chicken to try and cut my factory one down.

But then, why spend $200 or so?
Old man laying in the driveway.............

Mark 5 5/8" down from the top of the chin spoiler end and run your masking tape across to that point. Lay another piece of tape above that one to use as a guide and cut between the two. Dremel tool is your friend.

Another "Cheap-@ss" mod!
What's not to love?

I'm preparing to do this mod but first have to fix a corner of the air dam near the wheel that has a broken mount tab from too much curb pounding. I will need to drill a new mount point near it to shore it up. The chin spoiler isn't damaged just the mount tab on deflector. Probably like that when I bought it a couple months ago but can't prove it. I may go higher than you did to take care of the curb surfing problem.
